Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

You could start a whole other thread on clothing fit. There's enough sewing types about that they might have ideas on many issues.

How very B*ton Cool ;)

I like!

You know GAP is US sizing right? So a 12 is a 16.

No - it's a UK 10/US 6 - it's like they'd just added an extra inch ALL THE WAY DOWN as the sizes go up!

There is that 15% off voucher you could use, should you find an excuse to buy it, btw (although defo TRY IT ON before you buy!). ;-)

I LOL'd at the Brighton cool thing, btw :D - the two standard measures me and my bezzer have of my clothing purchases, is whether they've strayed too far into *baby clothes* OR *bRightOn mother* hehehe!

This fits into both categories, tbf  - although I'd have to be wearing some ART shoes or summink with it for the full Brighton mother look :D

Not just big in proportion, the widest part of your bust's higher up than clothing manufacturers expect.

There you were, thinking that not having droopy tits would be a good thing.

It's any wonder I don't fall over more often than I do zenie

:D Do you have small feet too?

Art shoes!!!! :D Hahaha...it's a kind of hippy/earth 'relaxed' mother type isn't it?

I got….some sparkly buttons and some metal studded buttons to replace ones I’d lost, 2 pairs of summer shoes, some hair clips, earrings and a sailors hat :)

i need to find a dress for my cousin's wedding next month (lovely normal member of the human race.) what's the wedding-guest dress code? i haven't been to a wedding since i was about 5 years old. don't wear white? or am i making that up? anyone recommend any sites that sell pretty dresses at affordable prices?

absolutely no white - some trad / older types look down on black - nothing attention-seeking or dramabomb (tight, lowcut, bright red frocks probably out), above knee is fine but shorter than that is contentious.

I think I'm a 4 1/2 - 5 in UK sizes. Is that small or average?
in between. UK average shoe size for women is 5 > 5.5

Got those for super duper cheap

i'd agree that all white is out, but white with a coloured pattern is surely okay...

Small side of average.

Studded buttons? Pics please.

Maybe I didn't describe that right...they're military studded things? Like on here

Got 'em in lewisham but the shop was pretty un fucking helpful  Still....they didn't want £3.50 a button like John Lewis did

just wear whatever the fuck you want, unless you know that the bride is a mentalist.

Have known a fair few Bridezillas :D Ive worn white to weddings in the past and no-one's said a thing. :)

I really like Fatface mens clothes (so does my BF) but I'm not so keen on the womens stuff. I find it too twee bar the odd item plus I find it on the expensive side for the womens stuff.

I have been really lucky with their sales and charity shop finds.
Wifey has the same issues as you though :(

 Moose

Is there anyway to make them bit comfier? I got given some black/green ones and they feel a bit tough, thinking insoles might help? :hmm:

my 'new' docs btw. someone else broke them in for me.

i think they need to be a bit darker though, so i might experiment with polish or something.

At least you have youth and slenderness on your side - I'm fat and old and have unruly hair, Jo and I could be sisters :D
I wear cushiony insoles in mine, Zenie, or those socks with extra thickly knitted soles.
