Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

Also got some new 'summer' pyjamas, as the elastic has gone from the trousers of mine and this nice site had a £10 off voucher

Went in M&S to buy a replacement pair of shoes for ones I already have but have worn to death and which are now a bit smelly.

They didn't have my size in stock.

So I bought a pair of jeans (needed some anyway, they were on the vague mental shopping list in my head). Plus a camel coloured pleather skirt that was on sale, £11.99. plus a long-sleeved stripey t-shirt. Plus a different pair of shoes, platform heels, (so I still need to go back for the flats).

And then I went downstairs into the foodhall and spent a stupid amount of money on nice things because I was shopping while hungry.

This time of year is great for short women to go jeans/trouser shopping, because stores are starting to get their spring/summer stock in, which means cropped trousers and capri pants are all the rage, aka 'normal' ankle length for the vertically challenged.

Payday today so I've ordered this, which is exactly the same as all my other dresses but with a different pattern. I know they say once you find something that suits you....but I think I need to start branching out.

That's lovely. If you haven't already come across them, you might like Dolly and Dotty vintage style clothes.

And there's a 20 per cent off deal this weekend with code FLASH20.

One mad purchase!!
I have been so careful not to buy anything I dont absolutely need.
But I saw a bag I have been really wanting since 1998... Lol... and it came up on ebay! It's actually nearly vintage now and pretty hard to find obvs. But I snapped it up. Truth be told, I bought the same bag originally in 1997 on my way through Heathrow to Helsinki. I loved that bag... and sadly/ stupidly lost it..as in it was knocked off....in 1998.
I cannot wait for the bag to arrive 😀😀

Eta. Bonus is that my family are going to give it to me for my birthday!! Even better.. 🙂

Yeah, I'm loving this cropped trouser thing that's been going a few years for just this reason. Will be sad when it ends, which must be soon.

I'm in between lengths (just on the cup of petite but not quite) so full-length trousers have to be shortened and cropped trousers/petite-sized trousers are too short. What I really do not love is cold ankles, so I'm relieved full-length trousers are returning. It's ridiculous that with the amount of stuff in shops, we can't have trousers of different lengths available all the time so everyone can have trousers that fit -_-

I get over the cold ankle thing by wearing boots.
Usually ones that go half way up my leg.

Have just ordered some slim black jeans from La Redoute - I had a similar pair years ago that were so nice; not skinny, just slim and so comfortable, and the black never faded to grey in the wash, so I'm hoping this pair is the same or as good quality at least. The Mango skinnies I bought after I went up a clothes size from the really nice ones pair have always felt like they're sliding down my hips and after reading a quote about how life is too short to wear uncomfortable clothes, I gave them away.

You could have rocked a pair of braces...😊😊

I was ordering some polos for my partner and bought one for myself because I kept borrowing his. It's men's sizing and it fits fine except for its length, will probably take it to get it shortened so I wouldn't have so much excess fabric in the stomach area (even after I tuck it into trousers). What I really love is the fabric - it's 100% cotton but it's silky - mercerised yarn is what does it, apparently.

The black jeans turned out not to be as slim fit as I hoped, more like 'boyfriend fit', but lovely thick cotton and don't dig in at the waist or slide off my hips.

Have finally, after wanting some for years, got an orange blossom perfume. Always loved the scent and regretted not buying some at a moorish baths in Cordoba we visited years ago. Anyway, tried this in a shop on Saturday, ordered online. Lasts nicely and had fresh flowery undertones and I hope won't be obnoxious to anyone - I'm very sensitive to really strong or sweet perfumes, they give me a throbbing headache in no time flat so if a perfume doesn't set me off I'd hope its OK for everyone else.
