ThankyouYou are looking very glamorous these days AuntiStella.
Baracuta G9. Wanted one of these for a while now. Forty quid secondhand off Ebay:
Same here. Nearly all my work shirts are double cuff these days.French cuffs (just 'cos I love cufflinks)
Really chuffed with this. It's a very dark blue marl one, not black but I really like it. The photo on Ebay didn't do it justice, really, but that meant there wasn't much bidding. Virtual Blue - I know you were thinking of getting a Harrington. I'd really recommend spending the extra and getting one of these. Well-cut, lovely material, worth paying more. My cheaper one is charity shop bound now.

Normally they are. The cotton one's quite light, I think, but my one's wool and has a thermal lining so just right for Autumn. I'm surprised what good nick it's in for the price. Unwanted prezzie perhaps? Whatever the reason I'm very pleased with it all round. They look great! But the prices when new are a tad OTT.
It's quite a summery jacket no?

A top coat. Or even a longer length car coat, can't see how boxy it is.it's not really a trench though is it? what do you call that length of jacket?
I hope when I scroll down the rest of this thread I shall see pictures.I've made a few pairs of cufflinks for myself, one with thruppenny bits from my birthyear, another with sixpences, and a rather nice (in my opinion!) pair made from 2 East German 10 pfennig pieces, with the DDR emblem facing outward. I eagerly await the first "are you some sort of commie?" question, when I wear them in public.
There is no better lower-leg silhouette on a chap than narrow jeans and DMs.
