Gorgeous colour. Maybe you didn't go radical enough- could you have it a bit shorter at the back so it's a sharper shape, maybe? Or the ends razored so it is choppier? I'm only ever pissed off with my hair when I'm not brave iyswim

Yeah, the thought crossed my mind but I think really my hir needs to be long as it's really, really thick and frizzy and naturally curly. It needs the weight.
Ah well. It will for and I think that it will look alright when it grows another two inches only god knows how long that will take. It's still a massive change and maybe I will grow to like it or have a styling breakthrough and realise it's the haircut for me *hopeful*

I seem to be on a constant order/return loop with ASOS at the moment and they've constantly had a chunk of my money for months. I ordered a load of stuff which arrived today but most of it is no good, their sizes are fucking random.

Anyway, I'm definitely keeping these-

Plus a red ish cardigan that I can't find a picture of.
There's also a couple of cheap t-shirt dresses but I think they're too short, I'll try them on again when Mr s is home.
 
Their sizing is odd at the mo, and also some of their designers are clearly on crack, looking at some of the things they have available. Like that shirtdress, though!

Yeah, there's some proper horrors on there at the moment. I really wasn't sure about the shirtdress and of course it was the most expensive thing I ordered but it looks alright.

It'll be good for the summer too as its cotton.

It's the lengths that are crazy at the moment. Two things I ordered reached my calves when they looked knee length online and I'm 5'8. You could have worn them as sleeping bags. [emoji1]

They felt like really nice quality, fitted perfectly, comfy as FUCK, suspected strongly they were leather but it didn't say on them, so I thought what the hey. I fucking love that little charity shop - so many gems out of there :cool:

Same colour as the link too. Should go with a green frock shouldn't they?

:) You think? Ooo, hope so! Apart from being really comfy, I reckon I can drive in them too. I can't drive in many types of footwear. Not Docs, or flip flops or owt with a proper heel (mind, I can't even walk in a proper heel!).

Whenever I am driving in my stiff patent docs I always think "try and remember next time this isn't a good idea" :D
 
We're going out for a meal for the Kettle matriarch's birthday on Sunday so I reckon I will be wearing my green checked frock and these boots. Shock everyone :D

Bought some opaque tights but suspect I will look like Max Wall in them, with my knobbly knees. May get some lighter ones :hmm:
 
I've bought loads recently and not worn most of it yet. It's because I'm quitting my job so buying stuff while I still have a wage. I also did a photo shoot for a vintage reproductions company yesterday, which is always dangerous. I came home with a couple of things from there:

I also have found that Collectif Dolores tops fit me really well so just keep buying them in different colours. This is my latest:

Got some great nail varnish with mini hexagons of silver, white, black and blue in it too - will try and get a pic later.

I've also got my eye on a Boden dress - I've got five weddings to go to this year that will all have the same people at so will require different dresses, so it's all justifiable right?
 
Love that sailor dress.

I got a Biden catalogue through the post the other day, and there is some really lovely stuff in there. I was a bit surprised as I think if them as being a bit preppy.
