Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

It depends on who you go to.
For years I had young female hairdressers trying to convince me to get a fringe.
I was never convinced as my hair is quite fine and I have a awkward face :D
A few years a go I started going to an older bloke in Herne Hill and one of the fist things he said was that a fringe would definitely not suit me :)
I really like him and the others stylists they have there.
They are honest but not afraid to try something different.
Yeah, you're right. You've got to find out who are the trendy types, who are the traditional types and who are they 'adapt to your actual client and what;s best for them' types. I"ve never had the good fortune to find the latter.

I go here - http://www.bokishair.com/

They are not prohibitively expensive if your just having a cut and style rather than colour.

People are also allowed to take dogs in there (it being by the park).
I took Miss B in there when I was dog sitting for Zenie :)

Umm. I just bought a bright red beret. For no other reason than it popped in my head - I KNOW, I NEED A BERET!

Fucking ebay.

I've no idea when or where I'm gonna wear it. I was thinking about a gig I've got tomorrow night, and wearing a black poloneck cos it's still freezing, and I wouldn't have to get changed when I get home from work, just put jeans on instead, and then a midlife synapse went POP and here I am, with a fucking beret I'll probably never wear.
Berets are ace. Everybody should have a beret.

I loved my beret.

See this is to some extent why I miss being really thin.
I felt I could get away with wearing completely mental clothes and it was OK.

I used to wear cropped trousers with knee length stripy socks underneath, with Crocks (yeah yeah I know but they were really practical for work and showed off my stripy socks better), t-shirts, my hair often in plaits and a beret.

I kinda looked like Penny Crayon (but even more weird) and I loved it.

this thread reminded me i need to book a hair-cut so just done it. in two weeks, which is unheard of, i normally have to wait two months for my hairdresser (he is definitely of the 'find a style that actually works for the client' type)

Online dating thread? That seems to be more active than lonely hearts.

Me and my mate went to primark today. I got a brown, not leather rucksack [emoji53] and she got unicorn pyjamas. [emoji41]

Aw shucks, I"m flattered that people should be interested but, seriously, the interest is wasted (post 24670 on there)

I hate it.
I went back to have the hairdresser blend the back and it has ended up shorter all over so I'm not happy.
but my hair grows quite quickly, my hair grows quite quickly. my hair grows. quickly. quickly grows my hair. quite quickly grows my hair...
