Admittedly Icebreaker are the Rolls Royce of the merino world. It's their ethical production.

The other thing is that it lasts. I can chuck the stuff in a normal wash cycle with other garments and not have to worry about wool cycles or shrinkage. But yeah, £170 sounds a bit steep. Try John Lewis for a more competitive price, or a winter sports retailer like Cotswold Outdoor.

I just bought a cream faux fur jacket. From a charity shop in Ilkley but originally from Anne Brooks Petite that I've never heard of.
It's nothing special but it's a good fit and will add to my collection.

zenie / ShiftyBagLady / anyone else who's interested - I got the leggings from here (some other sizes in stock here). zenie if you mean the pics on the leggings it's rainbows and unicorns, I'll try to take a picture of it.

The size chart on the website is right - they're compression leggings for sports so the sizes come up small.
