Ebay fix

I'm feeling pleased with myself as I got my hair dye for 49p using Superdrug beauty card points for the other £5 and free postage. Especially pleased as last time I bought it in the poundshop so kinda thought had been discontinued (actually just a rename package change). So I'll be orange headed again soon and it's been so long I'll end up ombre effect (possibly).

Have spent the last couple of days trying to get some winter boots for my eldest daughter for school. She wants something furry lined, not fussed about colour as long as it's 'not like dayglo or anything'. I want some kind of vaguely waterproof material and a flat sole with some sort of grip because this is Scotland in the winter after all. Yesterday I went into the city centre and tried a load of shops round Princes St but nada - nothing anything like that in her size. Lots of patent boots with heels and no tread whatsoever :mad: Lots of slouchy fabric or suede boots that will get soaked through the second it rains :facepalm:
I went out to a designer outlet place a half hour drive away today to try again but the same story. Honestly you'd think I was asking for the moon on a stick - the only things I could find were adult Rocket Dog boots but they were like seventy quid! and a half size too big really. Eventually I gave up in disgust and came home via Asda to get some stuff for tea, where I found these for £16

 at least at that price I'm not going to care when they inevitably fall apart in two months :)

It's a shame I don't like blue - the navy ones are more interesting because they have green spots.
Have you seen the higher heeled ones? They're ace, but completely inappropriate for my work and my inability to walk in heels. View attachment 63650

I have just put these adn the other ones - they yellow ones in a basket - probably won't check out because I can't walk in heels either and I really must not spend that sort of moneh on shoes... but I have fallen a bit in love. Someone on the reviews said they were really really comfy...

I thought I could just order them and put them on and admire my feet and then send them back... *sob*

Rocket Dog are shit too. My favourite boots are RDs but they fell apart after I stepped in a shallow puddle. Then the replacements did the same. Bloody rip off for 70 odd quid. :(

Yup - my Rocket Dogs dyed my legs black every time I wore them for months, then just when I thought it was safe to wear them, they self-destructed. (destroyed??)

Can't decide whether to keep this leather skirt that finally arrived today from H&m (their online delivery is unbelievably shit). It's a bit short, and maybe not that flattering? Advise me, urbz.

the placket with the eyelets is sewn on, but it's not likely to come off without fucking the coat up, is it?
Have you looked at Weekend Doll for coats?

I really like it! It's flattering because it's unflattering.

I'm not sure about it either. I say send it back. There's no point buying things for them to just gather dust because you don't actually wear them.
