Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

Actually pinkmonkey got a nice one off ebay.
Very cheap though, £15 one size fits nobody. Looks ok on but the lining isn't put in properly and the outer bit can slide away, leaving you wearing the lining with the fur hanging off your arms. Odd. It was a drunken ebay purchase. But at least I can wear it to parties and not get upset if it gets lost of damaged.

Can I have a moan about clothes? I'm really struggling to find things to fit because since I was last pregnant, it seems you can no longer be fat AND tall AND pregnant. I'm a size 20L. Almost no where does 20L maternity clothes. I can't find a maternity coat because I'm tall so the sleeves don't fit on normal coats. I can't find any trousers. It's really getting me down.

I can't be the only tall/fat pregnant woman in the fucking UK

Not just short in the waist, but roughly where the natural waistline is assumed to be when making clothes for small children ie. just under the lowest rib.

As for *ahem* fallen assets, well, maybe a bit, but in that case a lot of tops are obscenely low if they're even too low cut to avoid showing my bra.
That's where my waist is. Where's it supposed to be?

TKMaxx has loads of parka-style jackets at the moment. I got a really nice one from a Danish brand the other day with a fake fur lining.
I went in this morning and although there were quite a few nice ones there I'm not after a parker style, more a mac with a hood. I think I might chance it on the trespass one. If it's crap I'll send it back :)

I bought my first jeggings the other day, they're really comfy

For measurement purposes, not usually where that lowest rib is! It's more reliable to fasten a bit of elastic, slightly stretched, a couple of inches above your hips, then bend and twist in different directions. Where it ends up is your natural waistline - the narrowest part of your body. In this picture, the lowest rib is roughly level with the white panel and slightly above the model's elbows, while her waist is a few inches lower.

My waist is obviously quite high then. But I still find that lots of stuff doesn't fit. Usually too short (dresses, trousers). Or too low-waisted (jeans, trousers).
