here - it's a few years old, as you can tell from the size of the child. The jacket and waistcoat are vintage (1920s or 30s)

Not just short in the waist, but roughly where the natural waistline is assumed to be when making clothes for small children ie. just under the lowest rib.I do think they make dresses short in the waist and generally too short these days, however I also think that as ones assets move downwards over the years, that can affect fit in that respect.
Outdoor activities shop, most of their clothing will be brightly coloured, but there's still some in darker shades for wildlife stalkers and rural workers. If it's good, it's unlikely to be cheap, but you might find something in one of their sales.Can someone help me find a coat like this please, but a bit cheaper
