gonna order one of these too cus I'm sick of my lashes getting caught in regular curler side bars

It didn't fit right on me - too big at the top - and the cleavage slit was surprisingly brazen, so not suitable at all for work.

Never mind, I can put the money towards something I actually need and should have bought in the first place, instead of random pretty dresses :D

I'd completely forgotten about H&M plus size but an ex urb mentioned them on facebook.

There's not loads but it's pretty good value.

I got a dress and cardi in the sale. :)

The dress was 6 quid. The cardi is like this but grey. Actually it's not really like that at all as its grey with black dots. :D

I'm a bit annoyed I didn't get the dress in black too as its sold out now.

Also, I was in Tesco today looking for squared paper and passed the clothes section. They have a fifty shades nightwear and lingerie range and its fucking shit.

25 quid for some Jersey pyjamas because it's got crappy messages on it like 'laters baby' Oh piss off!

Someone has left copies of the first two 50 Shades books in the staff room where I work. I have been flicking (hur hur) through while making cups of tea and actually been agog with wonder at how utterly, utterly, dreadfully shit they are :D Twilight with Ann Summers velvet handcuffs, basically. Total jank.

I read a chapter at my mate's house, awful.

I was right - even being able to fit into mainstream sizes again, there are still garments which look very different on me to what they look on the websites etc. Bought what I thought was quite a nice jumper dress (slightly above the knee) the other day - dark green marl, fine knit, not too expensive, the sleeves were 4" longer than I'd like, but that can probably be tweaked. This is the same jumper on the H&M model, some of you might notice that the front of it finishes just below the crotch on her.

Oooh those are both well nice b!

 boobs sheothebudworths  love that bottom one, I'd love a bra like that bottom one. A long bra? Wossit called?

It is called a LONGLINE bra.
The cups were huge - left gaping flappy bits at the top  - not a great look  so I've returned it and am trying a cup size lower :hmm:
It's also very odd trying to do it up - your hands are so used to doing up a traditional one and suddenly you have shit loads more and half of them awkwardly sited much further down your back than is usual - I got all in a dither '  ' :D so had to do the thing where you do it up at the front then twist it round (which was still almost as awkward, but not quite  ).
I think if the reordered one actually fits, I'd probably put it on and then just leave it there for three fucking weeks before I could be arsed to wrestle myself out of it again

I've got a very long body so a lot of stuff ends up too short for me. Me and madamv tried the same top on the other day and the difference was ridiculous. It's bound to vary depending on height/body length.

Joe Browns and Evans must think that all fat people are short. I can rarely buy tops from them.

That's partly why I love Asos. They give you very clear measurements like length of dress and then tell you how tall the model is so you get an idea of how it will look on you.

Er no, Evans and Joe Brown consistently come too long on me then it comes to leg length, sleeves and body length. Except that Evans consistently have the waistline in the wrong place relative to the bustline. The only reason that the couple of JB dresses I've got fit me is that most of their summer dresses are designed to be worn with leggings (ie. tunic length).

I'm pretty good at visualising where something will come on me from where it is on the model. What threw me was buying the jumper dress in a physical store and only seeing it on a model afterwards. I'd forgotten quite how ludicrous the difference could be.
