I've bought all manner of shit and I'll say more if it turns up and fits (new look - sale + discount code for being sold out if what I ordered in a previous sale). However thanks to Mogden I knew about the m&s sale and got my current favourite bra for £6. In red. Yay!

I'm in a massive customising phase, I'm so bored with what's in the shops.

I bought a pale blue denim dress with short sleeves, dyed it black, added black sleeves from another old shirt, and lined the collar and cuffs with bandana fabric. Looks nice

Also bought a dull black and white stripey t-shirt dress, dyed it red and added zips on the shoulders.

And bought a tedious black maxi-dress, cut it to knee length and replaced the buttons with skulls.

And attached iron-on swallow motifs to an old cardi.

love it much thicker quality fabric than i expected and generously sized (i average a 14 atm but the 12 fits perfectly). sweetheart neckline is gorgeous, despite not having the cleavage for it. may just have to set up a search to nab a red one too

plus black and white 'work appropriate' tshirt/top things. And some flat shoes….

and er, keeping all the new look stuff. One dress is an inch too tight but it's probably good wedding guest attire (and I've got some weddings to go to) so there's good motivator on the weightloss front.

A couple of smartish black ts while La Redoute was having a flash sale, as I could do with some for work. Hoping fit is OK... they do a 6/8 or a 10/12, whereas really I tend to be an 8/10 on top if anything, but experience has shown that slightly looser is more flattering (tight just clings to my stomach), so I went for 10/12.

Ebay mainly, search for swallow appliqué or swallow motif. They only work on thin cardis and you have to iron front and back quite hard, through a cloth.

Got some turquoisey coloured jelly shoes from New Look. They'll be perfect during the monsoon season when it's hot and pissing it down as my flip flips always slip off my feet and float away.

Got slightly tearful in New Look, seeing all the shoes, all sitting there in my size, which I can't have as I don't have enough baggage allowance.
