Thimble Queen
Called away to another place
New skirt arrived from ebay today. Its a pretty polka dot and floral pattern. I'm gonna wear it tomorrow
Jaeger. The only decent thing they have in stock at the moment... not sure what is going on with them....Beautiful dress! Where's it from?
Some branches have fabulous stuff in them, but some...All the ones I saw in TK Maxx were rubbish and over priced imo. I don't want a 'label' purse, I want something to put my money and cards in
That was over a year ago though I think. I don't really like that shop tbh.

if you like the black lace thing, also try Hobbs by invitation and Kaliko- they have black lace dresses that are also chic/not slutty. Phase 8 have a lace dress that is a bit horrid IMOHmmm, tried on a dress in there recently that was possibly the least flattering thing I've ever put on. (May pop and in and see what this one looks like )

Gixen is the way to goI'm watching a dress on eBay that finishes at 4am. Wtf? It's a UK seller so either insomniac, has small baby or works nights.
I don't use a sniping thingy but I might have to if I don't want to lose it.
I'm off sick so could set my alarm but I'm getting so little sleep at the moment I don't really want to be disturbed if I do drop off. Grrrrr
I thought charity shops rejected primarni? Sure I was listening to s'thing on R4 at the Sally Army sorting depot where they said it is basically junk and they sell it for rags....Found a pair of pristine black M&S cords in charity shop yesterday - in a 10 short fitting, which seems to be just about perfect on me. Not very exciting, but chuffed anyway. I seem to be really short of trousers (and one pair is starting to wear at the knees) so I seriously need another 2 or 3 pairs for winter. It's my current charity shop challenge, 'cos I can't afford several new pairs; basically scouring any I go past for well fitting/good quality ones, as at least this way I might get decent makes. 90% of everything in charity shops these days seems to be Primark, though.
These days they would struggle to fill the rails if they didn't include the like of Primark. The Sally Army shops were pretty ropey in my time with charity shops, if they haven't pulled their socks up I doubt their sorters are up to much.I thought charity shops rejected primarni? Our trip to Venice this week has made me do something 30 years of muddy festival-going has failed to do:
70% of the city was under water today, so I'll probably need them.
since reading this, I won't shop at Primark....These days they would struggle to fill the rails if they didn't include the like of Primark. The Sally Army shops were pretty ropey in my time with charity shops, if they haven't pulled their socks up I doubt their sorters are up to much.
It mostly depends on area. Most charity shops get donated items that were bought in the town/area where the shop is situated.
I wouldn't buy anything from there either. I'm too mean to buy clothes that don't last for years and anything so cheap can't really be made by well paid workers
agree. I now buy less that is better. but also my figure isn't that great and really benefits from some decent tailoring/ materialI wouldn't buy anything from there either. I'm too mean to buy clothes that don't last for years and anything so cheap can't really be made by well paid workers
