I love it when that happens. It makes up for all the times that it doesn't fit, the fabric's revolting, the finishing was hit and miss, or the colour (or cut) didn't quite work.

I like the middle one.

the red/black dress.. it arrived but whereas all the other size 20 dresses I've bought from NL have been too big, this one is a little snug. Not so snug I couldn't keep it, but I'd rather it looser tbh... so I'll send it back. I think it's because it's some other make - not a NL own.

My boots haven't arrived from ebay yet which is a bit odd.

I also bought some bottle green leggings from NL which are lovely and some nail transfers like this..

The boots came... they're a bit of a wierd fit... tight around the middle of my foot, loose around the calf and somehow alternately tight and lose around my calf... it's probably my wierd feet and legs. But I think they'll be ok. The only thing is - 'cos they're synthetic they probably won't give/mould to my feet will they?

Love the nail transfers!

I got them because I've been giving my nails a bit of a hammering recently with successive gel manicures and wanted to get something noroushing and moisturising and sensible like nail oil etc....and there they were in the nailcare section.

FAIL!!!!!

I bought a nice new coat the other day. It's a lovely black wool coat with a nice textured knit, nicely lined and generally spiffing. It has a little bit of a sheen to it and to be honest I think it might be a bit too fancy looking to wear daily, it won't really fit in on the school run so I might save it for formal and/or evening occasions.
I'll need to buy a warm casual jaket though

Good purchases everyone..

Mine is not clothes but more wardrobe space. I bought more Ikea Pax wardrobes on ebay this time a double for £31.00.. In a few days time I shall have 2 double wardrobes with drawer space plus a chest of 4 drawers...that's got to be enough...!!...:D...I posted before about this being my first proper wardrobe since moving home & it feels even better that I have done it for £94 plus diesel (about £20)...ooh my first wardrobe was a triple..so a double plus a single with hanging rail and drawers...that is what my BF has!! Apparently that's enough...

Jealous. I am about to order a cheat of drawers from ikea as my cloths are all still in moving boxes and I'm not sure if i will have space for a proper wardrobe.

found a couple of odd things today...

first: dunno if i'll ever find the appropriate moment to wear this, but i still had to pick it up...

If they ever do a remake of Brokeback Mountain set in the Ribble Valley then that shirt is a winner.

From ebay i bought a couple of topshop dresses. Both a black one is for work the other is a bit more fun - its got red, green and blue hearts on it. I also bought a new triangle ring, my gold triangle knuckleduster ring died :/ In addition from a vintage website i bought a gold pyramid ring, excite!

A new pair of gym trousers from TKMaxx. Haven't tried them on yet but needed them as one pair I have look well tatty and the others are too big and fall down a bit when I run.

More winter clothes stockpiling here:

An identical pair of my beloved Ugg-type boots (but in black rather than grey as pictured)

I'd live in the skinny joggers so better not buy any.

I bought some dogtooth trousers and a vest top with built in bra, which I haven't tried on yet and am worried is gonna be a bit of a squeeze. :D

Dogtooth check trousers?

Classic 60's/mod style right there.

re jeans I've taken to buying them in BHS because they come up to the waist and they are stretch and they are shorter.

The leggings I was wearing yesterday rolled down below my belly. which felt cold/odd and made me worry my top would ride up and my belly would be hanging out. :(

The other leggings I have (same make/size up) come up to my tits.
