14 pairs of M&S "silver technology" cotton socks as my current batch are mostly hole - the absolute cut off is when there are holes in the toe area as well as the heel.

... can't I get them all the one colour - mid-grey preferably ?

Anyway I found two packs of the least objectionable ones in my size (12-14) and got a surprise discount - £20 instead of £24 ...

Since I wear two pairs - them being thin - I can still use the slightly garish ones ...
It'll be long trouser season in a few weeks' time anyway.

Don't bid til the last minute (or 20 seconds if you have the nerve).
Bidding early just bumps the price up and gets people over excited.

I always bid at the end and generally only lose when it goes over what I'd be willing to pay.

I almost forgot. I bought a cowboy style shirt at the Calgary Stampede.

I've taken to wearing it when I need to be formal, ie suit, at work. It's sort of an unusual color. Eyebrows get raised, but it's way past time to start being eccentric.

Next purchase will be black gunslinger cowboy boots, to be worn with said suit and shirt.

As the saying goes - fuck 'em if they can't take a joke.

are those Fly boots? I bought a pair recently but they were too tight for my feet and have been looking for a similar pair in that colour since - to no avail. I love them. Is that another ASOS dress? Both gorgeous.

My feet are my only thin bit, so I'm expecting to have to send the boots back because they're too big (plus their sizing is mental)
