I just spent a few squid in matalan a brown cowly necked jumper, a brown tweedish a-line skirt, a dark red round neck jumper and a dark red t shirt.

I also got myself some Fly boots a couple of weeks ago after a very disappointing trip to the Duo shop in London, the staff just totally ignored me and several others waiting patiently and politely to be served. I could see they were busy but it really wouldnt have been problematic for them to acknowledge the people waiting. I moaned on the FB page

i found an amazing vintage biker jacket in the local rock & roll shop last year (looked maybe 1950s from the tags & stuff), fit perfect and only 35 quid. i didn't have any cash on me though, and when i went back it was gone.

been pining for that jacket ever since.

No, it is Uniqlo Heattech. It's come from the factory. Arrived yesterday and it is brilliantly, brilliantly warm. I love Uniqlo stuff.

I bought some Hunter wellie socks yesterday. They were £7.99 in TKMaxx and rrp was £28 I have been looking for some warm socks for my wellies and these fit perfectly but I don't think they are worth £28. The sock part is fleece with a deep knitted cuff but the cuff is only acrylic, for the original price I would have expected wool at least.

oh I saw these on ebay and wondered if they'll fit normal wellies (dunlop green ones)? I thought I could avoid buying duck boots by getting some. Every year I don't buy snow boots and every year I regret it.
