Can I ask which website the doc marten sandals are from because they are brilliant!
I got mine direct from doc martens. Ordered Wednesday night, arrived Friday afternoon. I wore them Saturday and practically everyone I met admired them :)
Cheers again to moose for bringing them to my attention

The platformy bit should make them a little less vertigous to walk in? I'm always fine walking in heels until I'm not iyswim, then I'm on my arse.

I'm naturally very accident prone and spend about 95% of my time walking around in flat shoes. I am most scared my feet are gonna hurt

I would suspect they will hurt with those spindly heels, best solution is to be pissed while wearing them? Or maybe those gel insert things? Do they even work?

Bought some leggings and big black shirt from Primark. Also some black jeggings which I can't quite believe I bought, to wear with big jumpers, cardigans and stuff as it gets colder. Have hidden from Kam as he will be horrified, I think.

Also ordered:

Just got back from the US - didn't get to blow as much redundancy money as I hoped while there, which is probably a good thing. Got this skirt in Anthropologie - cost me £55 and is £78 on their UK website. Result!

Waistband is a tad tight, but I can just move one of the inner buttons out a teeny bit and it'll be fine.

Also got a multi fabric wraparound skirt that came with instructions to wear it as various dresses and tops. Dunno if I'll bother with that, but it's great as a long skirt, something I've been unable to find and is very useful with British 'summers'. And a cool cardigan on sale as a sample in a shop in Haight Ashbury, by Skunkfunk, a Spanish label:

I'm on my phone, so can't do photos, but I bought a Collectif dolores doll (what??? That's only four! Anyway they suit me, it was in the sale, and they come up huge, so I can kid myself I fit a size 12) in the big cherry print on cream background that I wore last September for a wedding. The last one was 5 sizes bigger!

Made the huge mistake of going into TK Maxx the week I got paid.
3 pairs of wraparound sunglasses

grey leather shoulder bag - it's less shiny (and a bit paler) than shown, the monkey's almost black and missing the left back paw, but you get the general idea.

Stop buying nice shoes! I miss buying pumps with the toe cap bits like those, I used to live in them when I had a standing-up job. So Chanel.

The much better constructed fashion corset (acrylic boned, but never mind, given the sales discount on it, I can afford to rebone when need be) from which I suspect that cheap & nasty was copied. This one is lined, better finished, has a more flattering bustline, and was cut a lot less flat.

Went to a steampunk gig last night. Purchased a 'perky werewolf' hat, as the seller called it. This is going to be a good starting point for daft clubbing outfits.
