seeing as i don't fit into any of my clothes atm i figured i need to wear something i has cropped jeans & black lightweight combats from peacocks. new boots have arrived and fit 
(after getting sent the wrong ones by an ebay seller who surprise surprise doesn't have the right ones 
) similarly fucked about on amazon over biker jacket. keeping everything crossed i can squeeze into smaller size from someone else 
other than that a couple of new pairs of leggings/tights, and a bright pink long-sleeve running hoody. i'm living in my running gear atm cos it's the only thing i have that fits
but it reminds me how fucking comfy and practical it is

I think I'm more so-called 'apple-shaped' than you - I have no real indentation where my waist should be, and I'm short-waisted and relatively long-legged. New Look frocks are normally quite good for that.
I'm wearing my skull dress today with fishnets and chunky bike boots.

eta I'm definitely an apple - pretty much most of my weight is around my tummy. Small boobs, relatively small hips. When I'm slim I have an athletic build. I'm definitely not pear or hourglass that's for sure.

ooh they're lovely (although at the moment they probably won't fit my calves - but I might come back to this in winter)! I do actually have a couple of pairs of knee high boots. For some reason I imagined that Moose was wearing shorter ones.

I have short legs - I always thought if I got mid-calf boots i'd just look even shorter - although I have possibly made that up based on nothing. But I do like the idea of them.

You could get a pair of boots that finish at the thinnest part of the calf. Also if you are wearing dark leggings/ tights, they will make the legs look slimmer. Shorter skirts/dresses can make the legs look longer!
I had a good pair of calf length boots from Rocket dog (who don't do them anymore at the mo).

I've bought this for my sister in laws wedding party thing. It's a garden party the day after her civil ceremony so fairly relaxed.
I will have to wear with leggings or skinny jeans as bare legs would be too awful to contemplate.
I bought a pink shrug to go with it but it's hideous so all I have is a little black cardigan. Will that be really shit for a summer party?
I have very little money, am too fat for primark and the do is Saturday so not much time for eBay.

this in black, which goes up to an H cup, so i'm only one 'sister size' out. reduced too, to £39. If any strapless bra is going to work it'll be this. Look at the structuring on those cups!

Today I bought an orange quilted Musto jacket in TK Maxx, in size 14, which made me very happy
And some BB cream as per the BB cream thread.
I also have sudden anxiety that I need to buy bb cream, despite thinking wtf about it til now.

It's cheap enough (the one I ordered anyway) so if it's not all it's cracked up to be, it's no great loss.
I usually use tinted moisturiser but it doesn't have any SPF, so I figured the BB cream was worth trying for that, in the summer anyway.
