levis have a repro division (levis vintage clothing) which does faithful repro's of their various clothes over the years - this is the 1929 cut 213 no.2 denim pleated blouse, to give it it's full title.

i'm also wearing a pair of the 1947 cut 501s. and have a pair of the 1967 cut in the dresser.

The repro division rang a bell. Wolfie recently bought some 1930's that had holes in them that looked like they were factory produced holes they are a really good shape though.

yeah, they produce quite a lot of pre-distressed versions, some of them look ok - i prefer to do my own distressing where possible though...

i see the distressed LVCs as a gateway drug - you can usually pic them up cheap from sales & ebay... and before you know it you're spending hundreds of pounds on the raw denim versions...

He hasn't got hundreds of pounds to spend, so he's putting his own distressing on top of the factory distressing I'm hoping to keep him off the hard stuff

These were on sale for a tenner in primark and there was one pair in my size. I am skint but couldn't resist them. The woman scanned them through the till and they came up as three quid. Get the fuck in
