Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

realised in a panic last weekend that all my work clothes are wool and/or knitted, bar one dress. this caused an emergency splurge in Monsoon - got a very nice drapey jersey dress for £24 in the sale.

I rediscovered all my linen trousers and thin shirts in the back of the wardrobe which kept me going for a week, but i am now trawling ebay desperately for more jersey dresses. i have to iron the linen trousers and shirts and that is far too much effort for 6:30 in the morning. jersey - the saviour of lazy birds everywhere.

I used to have to wear a lot of linen at work (clothes shop) and got one of those plant spray bottles and would hang my trousers over something flat and then spray them a bit until they were damp. Once dry, they always looked good enough without ironing, and I was contractually obliged to look immaculate, so I'm sure it would have been mentioned if they were crumpled. Totally understand why you wouldn't want to get the iron out at 6.30 in the morning!

It has taken me days to find these shirts!

And also couldn't resist replacing my harem pants with another identical (hopefully) pair.

   I know they're ugly, but they're so comfy and cool in the hot summers here.

Some very sensible chocolate leggings (£7) and a (size smaller than usual) polo neck (£6). Summer isn't here yet, and these were on sale. They'll go well with my long cardi which is actually a deeper wine colour than shown (also bought in sale for £12), and with my lovely poncho I bought earlier in the year from Phase Eight. All from M&S - extra 20% off online today, which equates to free p&p.

£18.50 for all three (inc. postage)

Though someone really should confiscate my Credit Card  !

I haven't bought anything at all for more than three weeks - this has to be some kind of record. :D

Same here. Oh. Well I bought some red converse but they don't count because I didn't own any flat shoes before, I only has boots or sandals, so...

I'm not going to buy anything until I lose my pastry weight. I'm still hanging on to it from Christmas when I had a bit of a pastry binge

This (in ivory, not white) won't get worn often, but a dress bought last summer is too long and doesn't hang right without it. BTW the net is the soft variety, not scratchy. :)

i could only find one seller on ebay and they don't have anything smaller than a 7.5. i'm pretty sure my old ones were 6 :(

Charnos hourglass girdle pants, not as good as the kiss me deadly dress but I needed some suck you in stuff without having a bra or suspenders attached.

Need a new longline bra now....

I really need to get measured before I buy new bra stuff, how do you know if you're wearing the wrong size? :hmm:

PS Pics weeps? :p

in orer to help my financial situation I have been trawling ebay a lot more lately. In the past couple of weeks I have got some Lush soap, Lush lip balm, Lush bubble bath, Lush perfume and a hat for a total of £21.20.

I went into a little fabric shop/craft gallery to buy ribbon and bought two necklaces and matching earrings too
Here's the red one,

And here's a detail of one of the little birds. It's paisley resin  It's a long chain but I'm going to shorten it.

The other one is the same but blue and the earrings are just little flowers and beads.

I need to buy a new suit :( I fucking HATE suit shopping. They cost a lot and still make me look like shit. I just want a smart black dress and matching suit jacket (preferably cropped-sleeve). Is that too much to ask?! I'm going to try Hobbs tomorrow. Anyone got any other inspiring recommendations?
