And almost bought this, but decided I'd probably wear it once :D

Owls! I love this...
You should go back and buy it :)

I'm tempted... but I bet I'll go back and they won't have it anymore... then I'll be more gutted than not getting it :D

Thanks :)

I like that! I'd kill for Joan Holloway's wardrobe... the clothing in Mad Men is fantastic.

The first thing hendo said when I showed him was "you look like Joan Holloway". This is a good thing, on the whole. :D

I really want a pair of DM knee high lace up patent flat boots - i saw them a bit ago but didnt buy them and now I really want them but cant find them. Grrrr.

I want an owl dress - I'd wear it every waking hour :(

There are 14 hole patent docs on drmartens.com, but not 20 hole.

Cotton silk cardigan with pointelle striping on front. Hangs beautifully with just the right weight to it. £39 down from £79

Thanks very much, but I found it online and the fabric's too synthetic for me - I'd be getting electric shocks and crazy hair all the time :D

A black + white striped scarf, some purple pringle socks, some garish green, grey and yellow tartan wool chinos (unsure whether these are awesome or hideous...) And a grey wool v-neck.

It's very Mad Men, like half my wardrobe these days. :D

What did you decide in the end about getting your ears pierced? I decided against it, but have satisfied my demand for earrings with a few 1950s vintage clip-on pairs off ebay - they'd look great with that kind of dress. :)

Today I bought two shirts from Dorothy Perkins- both quite long, only just too short to wear as dresses. Both collarless, drawstring at the back, one black with grey and silver threads running down it, and the other a cream/white for maximum potential accessorising. Also a necklace with about ten strings of black beads, very glamorous :D

And a pair of furry bootee slippers from Claire's Accessories, wouldn't even go in there normally but my bf's mum has them and I fell in love with them.

Get it. For the team. I should be wearing owl clothing really as I'm called Auntie Owl by nephews and nieces (funnily enough).

Paperchase are doing owly things just now. Not a dress I know.

I'm thinking of getting an owly overnight bag for my niece from there. And now I am thinking I should take up sewing so I have an excuse to buy some owl fabric from ebay for her.

I'm going to make owls her thing until she is old enough to tell me to fuck off.

I saw someone walk past me with an owl bag... similar owls to the one on that dress/tunic. What's with the owls all of a sudden?

Feels like the trend for them has been going on for a couple of years now. I really do love Owls though - I end up collecting Owl necklaces whenever I see them for sale in places like Topshop etc

Oooh - that's cute BiddlyBee!

Regarding the Owl dress, I say the coloured one: it's has a really cool retro feel with the colorscheme it uses. Nothing against B&W, but Owls in colour are best :)
