I'm not one for labels.

Left/Green/Socialist, more interested in local/national issues than worldwide.

My Dad is very left wing, but very socially conservative. A real ball of contradictions. It was fun being a loudmouthed, opinionated teenager in his house.

What does leftwing mean to you though? How do you define it? In what way are you left wing?

That in itself combines elements of the choices given....
others have placed me as... Socialist, Communist, Libertarian, liberal (yuch), Republican, Anarchist, Green etc.....

So to me being a lefty kinda encompasses all these, in the limited choices Im given to define myself within the Poll....

No it's a strength, if you define yourself as leftwing and a Labour or Lib Dem member or supporter does the same, then what's the problem - that in itself is interesting to me at least!
