Crystal Palace 2017/18

I reckon there will still be battles over this. Sainsbury's, local residents, and council will all have to be won over. They must have made some headway with that, or they wouldn't have announced, but it's far from brokered.

By announcing the plans, it infers that negotiations with Sainsburys for the car park land behind the main stand are now going a lot better than they were 6 months ago.

Can't see any residents having any real grounds to protest about this beyond those who live in the small cluster of houses behind the main stand which will presumably be compulsorily purchased then demolished. I thought Palace applied for compulsory purchase orders for the houses behind the Whitehorse Lane end as well but, if so, these plans suggest Palace didn't get them.

Its a funny old game, Brighton away in the FA Cup 3rd, hopefully it is on tv
should really be getting 3,000 plus tickets but not after the trouble just 2,000
I would have thought.

I'd laugh about this if it wasn't true.
Hopefully your silly little boys will be grounded by mum n dad for this game.

Surely palace fans must be losing patience with the ultras?

I'm not fussed about the fireworks (although is a bit embarrassing when you let them off and the score is 0-0) and a bit of trouble with Brighton (Your always garenteed trouble when we play each other.)

What does piss me off is they way the bowled down to the front of the stand. Pushed older fans/kids out they way, just so they could stick together/be on TV. IMO if you want to sing/stand/get over excited (at away games) You go to the back of the stand and leave the front for people who want to watch the game properly.

In all, I think they are good for home games. Not great for away games.

Pretty sure they did that to get on the telly. On the photo posted earlier the people around them are older supporters (the type who usually go down the front for most clubs)

I think they're fucking great. Obviously not every decision they make is right, but generally speaking I'm on board. If modern football won't let you in - kick the door down!

What ffsear is right and always was the way. Kids and oaps down the front, singers and retrobates up the back. They would make more noise with the roof over them, but i think they are more about themselves now and seek publicity at every chance. I believe the ex spurs fella leading them makes a nice few quid from the stickers and other tat he sells. Your chairman has given them to much clout and power by giving in to there demands on seating and such and they have let it go to there heads.

Breaking news

Crystal Palace announce plans to redevelop Selhurst Park. The work is scheduled to be complete in 6 managers time.

If you were to go down (I think you'll survive you jammy gits) at least you've seen some good goals in the premiership.
