I had to google those and discovered that actually I do and that's exactly what I've been using. I always thought they were a stray pair of nail scisssors, but not curved, that I'd misappropriated at some point and left in my sewing things. I wonder where they came from then.Have you got buttonhole scissors? I found my grandma's a few weeks ago, will have to have them sharpened.
Is that felted or embroidered?View attachment 24289
For as long as I can remember I have been into arty farty thangs, in particular textile art. I like it to be abstract in the main but occasionally I will really get into something challenging (for me at least).
Anyhow this is what I enjoy doing..

Yes! Well spotted. I tried to get a separate shot of it at the same time but couldn't get it to come out right.I spy new cardi.
That's beautiful, and so much work in it too. I bet it'll be warm with that loose texture and the choice of yarn.Finished scarf #2 for my other colleague.<snip>View attachment 24660
It's actually a dead easy pattern, as lace goes, because you only have to do anything lacy every 3rd row. Also it's quick because you use fluffy wool on massive needles - it took me a week and a half. That's beautiful, and so much work in it too. I bet it'll be warm with that loose texture and the choice of yarn.
That's awesome, great fabric.
I've got some kidsilk I'd be happy to part withFinished scarf #2 for my other colleague. I now have 1 ball of this wool (Kidsilk Aura) left over, which is a bit useless as it's not enough to do much with. I was thinking of putting a fringe on the ends, but now it's finished I think that would spoil it.
Why? And, Haze or Aura? (they're different)I've got some kidsilk I'd be happy to part with
