Conspiracy theorists blabbering about Covid-19

I’m getting a bit fed up of conspiracy theorists blabbering that Covid-19 doesn’t exist and then going on one of their rants about the pandemic actually being a plandemic and is being used as a way to control everyone, etc.

It’s impossible to debate with a conspiracy theorist because any thing you say that contradicts his/her view is dismissed and is considered to be a part of the conspiracy.

Does anyone know any of those nutjobs personally? One must live a very sad life to see every thing as conspiracy.

I think it’s very sad that some of the conspiracy theorists are exploiting people who are extremely naive and are not even aware that they are pedalling conspiracy theories e.g. the whole protect our children based on the QAnon conspiracy theory or when people are tweeting or posting on Facebook similar nonsense.

A few people in the area have been taken in by "The Light" "The Light" (<<<<Guardian link, don't worry!). It's pretty embarassing and they keep trying to foist it on me repeatedly.

My housemate, who isn't much up on the internet or stuff like this had to have it all explained. They couldn't understand why I didn't even want it on show as fire lighting material in case anyone thought I/we believed it.
