I don’t really know any details other than spotting it as an old car I like looking at them but don’t know the spoddy detailsSaw that driving around the other day. What is it?
Think my dad had a gold one in the 80sSaw an absolutely Concord(sic) Ford Granada Scorpio in our local Tesco carpark the other day - didn't realise quite how bit they were
Love these now. Growing up I thought they were awful and ugly. I remember they had them on The Getaway playstation game and they were great little cars and then I saw them in a new light. Were they rated well at the time?
A friend went to buy one, found it was a bit of a handful so bought an XJSIt's an 80s turbo. So it moves like a slug up to about 4k rpm and from there to redline pulls like a freight train. Really tricksy in the snow or anything else slippy, and slow as molasses in and about town. Quite fun though.
Don't think I've ever seen an estate version of that Nissan.Just down the road from the summer residence, a very tidy looking Nissan Sentra, pre-1986 version I think. In the UK this was known as the Sunny.View attachment 385478
Also Ford Orions still exist. Not massively uncommon either, see at least a couple every year. Yet I’ve only ever seen one Sierra over here.

This is what it looks like from behind, slightly distorted by my wide angle setting on the phone camera. The colour and styling gives a little hint of DeLorean somewhere, of that era. Also just noticed it’s badged as a Datsun on the back, so definitely an early example, or they’ve taken the boot or front grill from another car for spares.Don't think I've ever seen an estate version of that Nissan.
They're still popular in Iberia. Both countries have very active owners' clubsAn old Renault. A Renault 4? Vague memories of seeing them on childhood holidays in France

1958 Chevrolet Impala as my best guess with the continental kitRenault 4 brings back memories of my mother's car. Its gear stick came out of the dashboard and ISTR there were only 3 forward gears, but maybe that was just a family joke.
Meanwhile, spotted this in a pub carpark recently. Didn't get a proper look, but it's LHD. Is it a Saratoga, perhaps? (Distorted image due to cellphone.)
Edit: As you can see, I don't really do cars. When I enlarge the image I can see it says Chevrolet.
Definitely a '58 (someone on my street used to have one), but I'm not so good on the optional kit.1958 Chevrolet Impala as my best guess with the continental kit
