More like *fanny* la rouge!
Made it harder for me to watch iPlayer while I was driving, though.

My car has a TV that when in motion the driver can't see but the passenger can, so pop the cruise control on and hop in to the other seat to catch up on Emmerdale and that.
I'm usually too pissed to figure out how to engage the cruise control.
And the latest model cars provide plenty of usable surfaces for lining up within easy reach of the driver, what with those flat dashboards that run the width of the cabin. A lot safer as you can keep your eyes on the road whilst racking up, rather than looking down at the car’s instruction manual sitting on your lap one had to use in the old days.In such circumstances probably need a few bumps of gak to sharpen you up.
I almost asked why not set the car radio to TP setting but realised some people have a more modern car than I doI kick it old school with a AA road map, and the traffic and travel bulletin during 'drivetime'
Yeah, I miss those days tbh. But I’ve gone soft, and will be as vulnerable as everyone else when our robot overlords take over.I kick it old school with a AA road map, and the traffic and travel bulletin during 'drivetime'
Perhaps it depends which TomTom model. I got a 520 years ago and it still gets free updates. Doesn't suit my new car though so I've got the TomTom app on my phone for £20 a year. Works just as well (but some of the pronunciation is comical)Waze has all of those functions but I guess the screen size might make a difference.
Is there still a monthly subscription for TomTom?

I was thinking of Milton Keynes and the M1 to Birmingham yesterdayA lot of the apps struggle with pronunciation abroad. Waze was coming out with complete gibberish in Malta earlier this year.
