you lucky butt monkey. i've never even SEEN that cover. and, FUCK! - is it 25years old now? i can still remember nicking that and another 12" on sugarhill by 'the funky plus one' (called, i think, 'that's the joint'?) on a school trip
still got them both though i must have played 'scorpio' out hundreds of times.
James Last covered Silver Machine? fuck off
today's hawl = this for £2.00
(for the photo, but the Stars In Their Eyes style soundalike covers aren't that bad really)
awesome... just looked on discogs, and it's this. and it's a white label, so is probably worth even more.12" of the accapella of that house music rant (in the beginning, there was jack...), with the same laid over 'can u feel it' on the b

Seriously! The same album's got his versions of Children Of The Revolution, School's Out, Mama Weer All Crazee Now, Wig Wam Bam, and Glitter's Rock And Roll pt.2.
Side 2's just finished - Venus was pretty close to the origanall but the rest was pretty shit. Good impersination of BJ Thomas on Raindrops are falling on my head but they's lost most of the verses, and this is the slowest version All I Have To Do Is Dream I've ever heardSunspots[/quote said:On the face of it, the only track on there which would have any up-tempo possibility is Venus, but regardless, I'd definitely have bought it for the cover too!
wicked toons especially housefly, its one of those long forgotten about tunes that u never hear of any more but its a bit of a fav of mine
Housefly is the one I re-listened to out of that list.
Tricky Disco was basically Sweet Exorcist and GTO together, wasn't it?
I want that James Last album now
yep Lee Newman (who died back in the 90s) and Michael Wells. they churned out shitloads of nice stuff under different aliases... Sweet Exorcist is someone else tho
I'm such a sad bastard sometimes...
I nearly bought a brass bands album (ffs) for the cover photo of lots of brass pollish tins, today, so you're not the only one

i've been after his 'voodoo dance party' album for some time, but it never turns up on the booty sales, and always goes for more than i'm willing to pay on ebay... just found a blog about it though. here.Since I found out about the Silver Machine cover, I've been after it for a while.
It's odd, I'd just meticulously inspected every album inside a seven album James Last box set <-honestly, it's not something I ever normally bother to do!>, but no, it was all in vain. I sighed, put it all back, and thought: '-I wonder if I'll ever find 'Silver Machine'?...'
Five seconds later, there it was, at the back of the racks, the grail: Non Stop Dancing, vol.14.
I'm such a sad bastard sometimes...
kill yourselfsounds like music to burgle houses to
