BrewDog: yet another hip company using 'rebel' language to sell its stuff

Me and a mate once had a competition to see who could leg it to the other pub round the corner, drink half a pint and then get back to work without getting caught the most times in one shift. He won 5 - 4.
When I used to work in one of my local pubs, I was allowed to drink halves but not pints, because that's apparently more "professional" (this was the late 90s/early 00s in a village though).

Which is very nice of you but it doesn’t pay the rent & might get them into trouble.
I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here. I want bar staff to get paid well and to be able to work in a non toxic, non-sexist, non-racist, non-ableist, non-bullying workplace that doesn't leave them exhausted and/or in tears.

And if me giving them a sneaky shot paid for out of my own money makes their shift go just a tiny bit better, then I'm happy enough with that.

I’m absolutely not having a go at you!

I worked bars for years & drinks were always gratefully received but I had lots of friends who worked tables in restaurants who could double their wages at least through tips.

The great Keith Fleet of the Guardian letters page has something to say about this. I would boycott but never succumbed to their marketing offensive in the first place.

I wonder if James Watt had gone along with his best pal Nigel Farage to this right wing beano?

Emir Kir, mayor of Brussels district Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, said: "In Etterbeek, in Brussels City and in Saint-Josse, the far-right is not welcome.

When I was a student working in a now closed Birds Eye another student used to come in, clock on, then go across the road to Findus where he'd clock in and do his shift before clocking out. Then back to Birds Eye to clock out. It took about 5 weeks before he was discovered. It didn't matter then because he was going back to college anyway.

So Brewdog's greenwashing 'Lost Forest' has been a catastrophic failure with over half of the trees now dead, and public money wasted on these cunts.

Forestry Scotland handed over cash to pay for fences and also to cover the cost of the first planting phase. However, staff discovered that up to 56 percent of the Scots pine trees had died. This is estimated to be at least 92,436 trees.

They also noticed that 95 percent of the native broadleaved oaks had not survived - thought to be at least 42,712 trees.

Big thanks editor . Your restrictions worked, because the pro-BD voices have been absent since your posting.

Far more important things going on in the world/other threads, to give this one much attention at the moment, so you can wind yourselves up for the time being.
