Brazil v England, k/o 20:00

Enjoyed that. Didn't think much of either team though. I think Spain or Argentina would have walked that.
Thought Brazil were pretty decent in the first half and just got unlucky that Hart got lucky.

At least England turned up in the second half, but I don't think a lot of teams will fear them.

The Ox's dad apparently fell asleep and missed his son's goal
Mark Chamberlain, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's father, on his son's goal: "I didn't see it, I was dropping his mother off at the airport at 6am this morning so I fell asleep [while watching]. It was on tape so I'll watch it in a minute. I realised when his agent rang me up.

"I was watching the game, it was a bit negative in the first half but England were more positive in the second half and Alex played well in the hole behind the strikers. He plays wide right, but that's his third best position; midfield or playing behind the striker is his best position."

Did think it was interesting he said that about his best position.

Though to be fair, very few people seem to think their best position is out wide. Personally I prefer it, more space and you don't have to be as good at shooting  :D

Either team, in fact.

Although I think England have potentially got quite a handy midfield if AOC, Wilshere and Cleverley kick on this season... (what on earth we're supposed to do with the forward line is beyond me)
