Tsars are not just a Russian construct - Simeon of Bulgaria is still kicking about after a brief return to Sofia last century. Luckily he managed to reclaim his family riches and sort himself out with a lucrative role in business. Still plenty of scope for more hot rifle butt action there

Yes, he went back and became Bulgarian Prime minister for a bit. This included a spell in coalition with the ex-Communist Party. Hot buttered toast together rather than hot rifle butt action.
 
Well, as the Bulgarian CP was one of the vilest, most repressive of the former Warsaw Pact governing parties, it's no great surprise they'd be schmoozing with a remnant of the old monarchy.

I was rather pleased when it all went downhill for them after they deported me.
