Compassion fatigue too potentially. When someone goes missing it's exhausting. Especially if they'd been troubled for a while. It's uncomfortable and people don't like talking about it but it happens.just interesting the police/family public pleas seem to have abruptly stopped. but maybe they're overseas indeed so UK police don't care!
Not the Grand Canyon; the Grand Union Canal by Hanwell Locks. He’s a bit busy at the moment, he’s about to jump the Grand Canyon on roller skates
Worth repeating, no?Already mentioned on the first page (post 11).
Maybe the media can only cope with one missing woman story at a time.just interesting the police/family public pleas seem to have abruptly stopped. but maybe they're overseas indeed so UK police don't care!
I haven't been following that closely, but the description seems to want us to infer a degree of coercive control (relying on common prejudices about female aristos being rich and easily exploited, and 'convicted criminals' being incorrigible) without committing to actually saying it out loud. So that's the human interest thing, though 'missing baby' ought to be enough.still find the way this is being covered in the media extremely weird.
Look at the words that are superimposed on a pointless cctv video on the guardian website, “aristocrat & convicted sex offender” are what they’ve chosen to type out over the images there I mean really? At this point why do that.
Presumably no one survived in the UK prior to central heating??Maybe they got across the channel then went south to somewhere warmer. I dont think a new born baby could survive in a tent in the UK over the last month.

Back then they did not live in Argos tents and lots of kids did die.Presumably no one survived in the UK prior to central heating??
I think they've got away to France.Of course we have no idea if they’re living in a tent or not. Could have been a ruse or temporary arrangement.

What might they have been charged with, when arrested.
I suppose your new theory is they were caught having returned to EnglandI think they've got away to France.
It seems unlikely doesn't it.Hope they find the nipper
I don’t like to jump to conclusions with these things, but if they’ve been found and the baby hasn’t, I suspect the baby is deadHope they find the nipper
I thought the same.I don’t like to jump to conclusions with these things, but if they’ve been found and the baby hasn’t, I suspect the baby is dead
I hope not. Definitely a worrying situation and I suspectyou could be right but as JimW says they may have left the child with someone. I suspect this is likely to open up some sort of enquiry if that's not the case. There's definitely more to the story relating to the other children that this couple seem to have been responsible for.I don’t like to jump to conclusions with these things, but if they’ve been found and the baby hasn’t, I suspect the baby is dead
