Are you prepared? Got your emergency grab bag ready?

If there’s a proper full-on emergency, why would I leave my house? I’m safer there than anywhere else. I’m not some urban victim of city terrorism or river-flooded valley dweller. I’m in the hills and surrounded by safe, empty land. My biggest worry is fighting off the hordes that will be trying to move in.

And if I’m not at my house, how am I grabbing this house-bound grab bag anyway?
Bullshit. Everyone knows you head for the hills.

Erm, OK. Rough one to start with. Have a look at his other stuff. He’s not politically correct. Very good at identifying edibles in the UK.

Looks pretty clever from a quick glance, though come the Brexopalypse I’d probably be looking to one of the many thousands of abandoned buildings for my gaff.

I leave a tent and a change of clothes in my car, but the tent is there because I can't be bothered to take it out. The clothes got stuffed in when my kid puked up on us one day - seemed like a fair idea.

Forgot, I do have a grab bag at home.
My tablet is always next to the bed at night and my cash, cards, keys, and other stuff is always in it. I might very well be naked until I get to the change of clothes in the car, but I'll have my tablet.

I’m just passing on the preparation advice. It’s not the thread’s fault if you find yourself out and about in the wilds of Croydon without your grab bag.

Come on, people, this is September. Preparedness month. You don’t want to get to Halloween still as yet unprepared.
Oh...I
Oh...I getting it now...‘Spoons running out of beer?:eek:
Heavy bag to carry...and quite clinking.
Gonna have to think this through.
Fuck...there really could be civil unrest.

A stash of sovereigns sewn into a belt, a silk escape map, and a stiletto up one's sleeve. And that's just for a rough night in Weatherspoons.

They don't issue special forces or pilots or others who might end up behind enemy lines sovereigns anymore. As no proof they are useful and they always seem to go missing as well.
"They were in my bag in the landrover that blew up"

It's a nice idea ,should get round to it one of these days. Not exactly feeling the need to evacuate anytime soon though.

Access to tinned and dried foods, medicine? Also, what will you do with the bodies? If left to rot in their beds, survivors will quickly succumb to disease.

I do not need a grab bag, I have everything I need/want in my house, which is well above the tide level, not in an area prone to weather weirdness and not likely to need evacuated from.
