Seen your friend lately?
My rather metal heavy Go kit for Baghdad and Kirkuk travels.
Lacking fishing tackle, personal toiletries and flashlight
Large union flag for waving at Americans so they don’t shoot you
Wearing most of it
You're rather relying on the future weather being the same as the past. Some sort of waterproof might be a useful addition to your wardrobe.Never needed one. I've never lived in an area prone to wildfires, tornadoes, hurricanes, locust swarms, earthquakes, or severe flooding that requires footwear more sturdy than a good pair of wellingtons.
I think I'll keep it that way.
Sovereigns just the sweepings from the Benson and hedges factoryA stash of sovereigns sewn into a belt, a silk escape map, and a stiletto up one's sleeve. And that's just for a rough night in Weatherspoons.

Looking back I think that's the year I had two really nasty bouts of flu, about a week each time. Never associated it with sf at the timeI had hand sanitiser in stock for ages, but then again I did catch swine flu in 2009

I admire your optimism.I think I'll keep it that way.
I was working in an educational setting and caught it off a pupil. Felt a bit crook a few days later and they (surprisingly) sent me home. Temperature started going up and up by the next day was 105, a personal record I think, bad chest, aches, like a bad flu. Can't remember much but Tamiflu was delivered and felt better after a few days. Back at work the next week and a huge pile of laundry. The pupil was ill and then diagnosed, unbenounced to me. in retrospect that was why they sent me home and organised the meds.Looking back I think that's the year I had two really nasty bouts of flu, about a week each time. Six weeks though. I wish. .He's a highly intelligent guy, well into his retirement now, worked in computers all his life. Travelled and worked abroad for extended periods of time. A sponge when it comes to all kinds of theory, and it seems quite accurate in his ideas.
