I was a student in Newcastle we used to rent a Shields ferry for parties and cruise along the Tyne to the bridges.

Yeah, there's still a bit going on towards the coast, but nothing like it was. The main gatehouse is still there at Swans, but the rest of it is pretty much flattened.Unfortunately I suspect there’s not much industrial heritage left..walkers..swans…
