I do the Caledonian sleeper a fair bit but I usually just get a seat if I'm on my own. Usually about £36 with my railcard if I book in advance. You think thats expensive; I have a sleeper booked to Aberdeen from London in a few weeks

I expect the goats make it interesting, at any rate.
I'll be with Mrs tag in a double birth. We like train travel, she likes sleepers. Just don't ask how much.
As a passenger I’d rather have goatses than goats on the runway, since I wouldn’t be able to see the former anyway. If I were the pilot though I might take my chances with the former even if it means death.Preferable to goatse on your runway, I suppose

It can be hairy, so I’m told, was fine coming in for us though.
I love that old bit of Krakow Glowny and yes, the modern bit did need a bit of a makeover, but..... like too many refurbished main stations, it's now a shopping mall with a few tracks in the basement.Krakow Glowny, next stop Warsaw, then on to Berlin for the sleeper to Brussels and Eurostar back to London in the morning

I hadn't been there before last week but that bit where the station meets the shopping mall is definitely one of the circles of hell. I wonder how many people miss their trains every year because they've got lost and can't find their way out to the platform.I love that old bit of Krakow Glowny and yes, the modern bit did need a bit of a makeover, but..... like too many refurbished main stations, it's now a shopping mall with a few tracks in the basement.
London to the Isle of Skye by the proper method.
