We had free samples of a number of different types of gin and gin cordials served with fevertree tonic pressed on us in the distillery shop to help us decide what we wanted to buy - if you're in the area (and not driving) then it is quite good to pop in and have a look, there is also a local cheesemaker that has a shop there and Mandira's Kitchen which serves Indian food (including a large range of veggie and vegan daal dishes) to eat there or to take away (fresh food to eat right away or frozen ready meals plus a large range of chutneys, sauces etc.)

Indeed, I sometimes remind myself that I effectively won the lottery by being born in the UK, compared to a less well off country. Obviously YMMV and the UK is far from perfect even on this measure as Epona notes … but still more fortunate than many others by accident of birth

Chilled tap water with turmeric root for my joints (anti inflammatory) cucumber (electolytes) and a clove of garlic (anti microbal) ....but also is absolutely delicious and refreshing and motivates me to drink more water. I'm really bad at it.
