What's in your glass?

NIcaragua done. Watched the Arguello vs Watt fight + a highlight reel of the true Nicaraguan Nightmare, Ricardo Mayorga.

As it's Olympic year a shout out to the amateur boxers, in particular Guatemala, so next up is a Ron Zacapa 23.

I'm tippling at a 25ml level, 1 an hour.

Rum, again. Starting with 25ml of El Dorado 12 - I much prefer it to the 15 or 21.
As the missus is away I'm showing some loyalty to Guyana so have some Eddy Grant on (he's from the same village as Mrs Numbers family) whilst enjoying the El Dorado.

Mikey Dread and Ras Kayleb planned for the rest of the day so back to the Appleton, after Eddy El Dorado.

If I can’t go on a Greek holiday this year, the Greek beer can come to me!

I love an ice cold Mythos, such an easy brew to enjoy.

Back on the Rum for me, 3rd Rum day in a row (not concerningly, I'm on me olliedays).

Started with a Venezuelan Santa Teresa 1796 whilst watching some Edwin 'Evil Intentions' Valero , a great boxer and a fantastic Rum, and somewhat close to my old user name so a wry smile/hic.

About to have a Foursquare 12 (Private Cask) and will be watching a documentary about the Barbadian version of Jersey Joe Walcott, i.e. Barbados Joe Walcott - born in Guyana and the 1st recognised Black World Welterweight Champion.

Rumfisticaljoy.

Ooh, punchy number to finish the Rum excursion, 151 proof which probably equates to 70+ in UK alcohol.

10ml shot.

Bought/made at a Rum factory in Aruba a few years ago, loved by Mrs Numbers and I, Rum Palmera, Wray & Nephew can fuck right off.

10ml of this beauty and Sade...

35 years old !!!

I didn't read the label carefully ...

I would have been disappointed to have opened this on such a non-special occasion if it hadn't been decidedly uninspiring.
Acidic hedgerow fruit - pleasant enough with food.

I overdid it a bit last night. Was the first time in a pub since March last year & had to get on a train at 10,30ish. Needed the bottle of the good Old Henry Westons vintage just to stop the shakes. Did the trick & am happily back in Dorset supping a Thatchers Vintage but won't be long till I go to bed. Life gets more exciting the older you get. :D

Contemplating a ginger beer in a bit.

Not got any beer or cider in the house. Having a few weeks of abstinence whilst on some medication.

Double IPA 8%. Going down nicely, after a few pints in the pub.

The only beer I have left after this is some fairly serious Stouts that I'm keeping, so may be on the wine later.

Rum unsurprisingly. We recently got a gift of a lovely and mellow Antiguan Blended Rum called Cavalier. Not my usual bag but nice all the same.

Mojitos for rest of the day.
