:( I could never resist the lure of choccy after tea. I blame it on years of not having pudding when I was a kid. Can't blame it on lack of self-control can I? ;)

You keep saying this, and I've let it go and let it go, but I just can't do it any longer :p I never had pudding as a child, or crisps or sweets, and I rarely ever want them even now. You can't blame that! If you want a bit of chocolate cake, just say you want some chocolate cake! You don't have to make excuses for it :D

For tea tonight, I do not know what we are having. Maybe bean and pasta soup.

Gonna go gym then have ryvita's tomatoes cucumber and jalepino houmous (haven't tried that one yet) and some nice fruit tea.

It's lovely :) I've got it on a pitta with falafels and jalepeno relish for my lunch today.

Tonight i've got some curly chips to use up but can't think of anything to go with them. Maybe a veggie burger.

Excellent will look forward to it :) Got well into my houmous lately, goes so well with salad and is nice and healthy. :)

Last night's rosti idea turned into potato and carrot latkes with veggie Cumberland sausages and steamed broccoli.

Got a couple left to keep me going tonight while making spicy lentil soup. Might have to get some nice bread in.

It turns out I'm cooking just for myself tonight so I think it might be a nice smoked haddock and prawn chowder.

madge is coming home (in fact i think she is back already) so we are having one of her favs in celebration - fish, broccoli and beans :D :D

I have the hunger of a bear today.
Not sure why as I have wolfed two sarnies and beavered away at a bowl of soup.

Tonight's tea will be stirfried green pepper, prawns, ginger, garlic, and egg noodles

Just found a small jar of Sharwoods black bean sauce int cupboard, so will be having that with the green pepper and prawns, and 3 mushrooms I foraged for in the fridge

oops bought some vodka so maybe my own vomit
:hmm: be lucky bro'.

I'm making my new fav' salad (mrs said it's the best I've ever made in all the years I've known her).

Diced tomatoe drizzled with vinegar and the oil which is sitting at the top of the home made pepper sauce to keep it, + some black pepper and season all (not too much), in a plastic container and turned/shooken.

Let that sit for an hour then add a diced pink lady apple, add a little more oil and a little fresh mint. Turn in the container to mix it all up.

Half hour later, fan then dice a nice soft avacado and add that with a wee bit more of the pepper oil and turn again.

Serve with baked beef sausages (+ I'll have some cottage cheese, she wont) Winner.

I call it Salad Numbers 1

I urgently needed vitamins provided from something other than scrumpy so had a lovely salad with romaine lettuce, beetroot, roquefort, apple and pine nuts :)

I shall shortly be having raspberries and blackberries with creme fraiche for pud

More Indonesian (by request--win!): Gado-gado salad-- to use up yesterday's buntjes and to clean out the fridge. A bit too much chillie paste in the peanut sauce, but otherwise a hit. Even the raisin/pecan/tamarind chutney, which I'd never made before, got high marks.

I'll make culinary adventurers out of the nephs yet. :)

i had a 2lb lobster with drawn butter, scallops, shrimp and assorted veggies along with cheesy potaotes :)
