diet?
booze for me. oh yes.
Nearly shopping time again so the choices are getting limited but sure we will rustle up something half decent somehow.
Although we do have about a dozen farm eggs (lots of double yolks) in the cupboard.
Fishless fishcakes, chips, mushy peas and curry sauce.
Got a piece of salmon defrosting. Thinking of griddling it with some cajun spices. Got some potato croquettes to use up so i'll them with it.
What did you think of them? The fishless fishcakes? I'm eating fish now but when i was veggie i tried fishless fishfingers and didn't take to them much. iirc they didn't taste of much, but i didn't have them with curry sauce tbf.
My 3 nieces have just yyuuuuukkkkkkkgggkkkkkhhhhhhhhh'd me about my sandwich I'm currently eating.
Wholemeal bread
mayo
peanut butter
greated cheese
sliced avacado
Your three nieces are bloody right
Went to Japantown in the city today for fish and to get Korean dried chilli flakes for making yet more kimchee. They had a whack of great frozen Japanese dimsum-like things that are made in-house. They were all incredible, especially the gyoza and the largish fish-and-crab tortellini-like dumplings. which I steamed and served in chicken broth with green onions. We also had somen tossed with toasted sesame, slivered snowpeas and tsukemono, and mugs of miso soup. Green salad, natch. We fressed like idiots (to the point of needing a nap afterwards). Kimchee-making will have to wait until tomorrow.
