Left over tomato and aubergene rissotto. Although Im a bit concerned now after reading the rice thread.
I had it yesterday as left overs too and Im still alive so hopefully it will be ok.

Chicken breast and yellow peppers in a creamy, garlicky sauce (ok, it's actually the Chicken Tonight Country French Sauce, but it's very nice), with some boiled rice

Leftovers from last night cos I can't be arsed cooking. Have got a right lazy arse on me this week *stretches and yawns* Ahhhhh....holidays :cool:

Oh, you've stopped calling it Cunty French. :(

I had garlicky chicken and loaded potato skins from the reduced counter at Tesco. I'm home alone because Magic Sams train home from Cardiff has been delayed. :(

Nearly shopping time again so the choices are getting limited but sure we will rustle up something half decent somehow.

Although we do have about a dozen farm eggs (lots of double yolks) in the cupboard.

Some sausages appeared courtesy of a kind parent.

Pretty decent ones too so I think sausages, farm eggs and baked beans.

Although we did get four decent baking potatoes reduced to 44p from Tesco.
Also got a big bag of baton carrots for 55p
150g of blueberries for 99p

Not a bad haul all said and done :)

I'm not making pizza tonight after all (heartburn is just too bad). Boyfriend is doing us another of his famous and tasty oven teas

Fishless fishcakes, chips, mushy peas and curry sauce. :D:hmm:

What did you think of them? The fishless fishcakes? I'm eating fish now but when i was veggie i tried fishless fishfingers and didn't take to them much. iirc they didn't taste of much, but i didn't have them with curry sauce tbf.

They weren't brilliant but not as bad as I was sorta expecting. The mushy peas and curry sauce on the side was/is a winner mind.

Went to Japantown in the city today for fish and to get Korean dried chilli flakes for making yet more kimchee. They had a whack of great frozen Japanese dimsum-like things that are made in-house. They were all incredible, especially the gyoza and the largish fish-and-crab tortellini-like dumplings. which I steamed and served in chicken broth with green onions. We also had somen tossed with toasted sesame, slivered snowpeas and tsukemono, and mugs of miso soup. Green salad, natch. We fressed like idiots (to the point of needing a nap afterwards). Kimchee-making will have to wait until tomorrow.
