It's occuring to me now that your 'tent' may actually have be representative of something else too. The argument was about your mutual failure to get it up, was it not? To erect it? :( :p :D

Scientific studies, advice, articles and information on how Bacillus Cereus in rice causing food poisoning.
oh i'm sure it happens but its so rare its not even worth mentioning....you should concentrate on the much more common forms of food poisoning.

THERE. Will you shut the fuck up about it now please?

no, i'm not going to :p

So, NOT bollocks then?

as I mentioned a number of times you can get food poisoning from ANYTHING but getting poisoned from bad rice is so rare and infrequent its not even worth mentioning.

the VAST MAJORITY of people get sick from bad meat or seafood, period.

But let's just be clear about this - is the fact that you can get food poisining from rice bollocks or not bollocks?

Or are you not able to admit when you're wrong?

And for everyone thinking I've got too much time on my hands I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW I'M NOT VERY BUSY AT WORK THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

I said you can get theoretically get food poisioning from any foodstuff which includes rice....you're making a mountain out of a molehill

i'm not wrong in the fact that food poisoning from rice is extremely rare and really not a factor for the average person. the chances of getting sick from rice are miniscule. you should be much more worried about the other items on your dinner table.

Bacillus Cereus is particularly carried by rice and is responsible for 2-5% of food-bourne illnesses. I don't call that extremely rare. I certainly don't call that bollocks.

I am, however, running out of steam. Tomorrow, please leave a bowl of rice out all day at room temperature and then eat, just to prove me wrong, like ;)

Left over pasta from last night but with some sauteed spinach and I might bung a couple of carrots in as well.

I've got loads to use up or freeze in the next couple of days, but now at least I have a freezer - yay!

Rice food poisoning isn't that rare DC. Don't really matter if you poison yourself :)p) but giving some innocent student type the impression that rice can't hurt you might all go horribly wrong :hmm:

I've totally lost my cooking mojo :(

bees cooked a king prawn and mushroom curry  was lovely

I'm hoping doing a roast thing on saturday will help but I just can't be fucked when I come in from work. I'm too tired and stuff to think about cooking :(

thankfully over the last few years I've taught bees to be a good cook so he helps out :) I come up with things to eat, I do all the shopping, but when I get home it just seems too much like hard work :(

My 'tent' was a magnificent erection, I'll have you know, dear. :p

There's nothing wrong with my poles ;) , pegs  or, indeed, flaps.
