You can buy packet mixes in any old supermarket (some are better than others)....although it's pretty simple to make too.

I know, but I am in a can't be arsed culinary mood tonight so would like to be able to order a bucket of bread sauce from a takeaway :)

Oh does she!

And what was it she was having to eat? :)

Errr, I think it might have been a veggie burger with all the salad please and fries with mayo.

But I'm sure she will be along to tell us in a minute.

The tart turned out to be chorizo and goat's cheese, with loads of onions and a slosh of Balsamic vinegar. Can't wait for it to come out of the oven. It looks yummy, and I didn't even use a recipe. :)

No dear, it's not.

It's rank and that's being polite. I bet you eat bread and butter pudding as well don't you? :(

*Heaves* :(

Do I have to do a poll to settle this?

I am 100% with you on this. Soggy bread = infinite wrongness. Just looking at bread sauce makes me heave.

Bread sauce rocks but I haven't had any for years. Next time we have a roast I shall make some. Out of a packet though probably
