Rump steak with garlic butter, french fries, mushrooms and corn on the cob so quite a naughty dinner but it is saturday.

i had chunks of potato bsked with lots and lots of garlic, onion and herbs. i have cream cakes for later, but feeling a bit full at the moment. and anyways, if i get my cakes out now, i'd feel obliged to share with flatmates , i'll wait till they go out/go to bed

tonite I have a date and we're supposed to go to this huge xmas party with all sorts of food and stuff. but there's a HUGE snow storm coming in tonite so we may not go. right now its bleedin 23 degrees (F).

the party is far away so we just may go out for sushi around here somewhere. :)
so we ended up going to this local posh sushi place due to the heavy snow and had drinks and i tried octupus for the first time. It was ok but i wasn't too thrilled. Then we went back to her house and had dessert (pudding) which included some heavy petting for a number or hours. :)

needless to say i'm a happy camper right now..:D

I've got some mussels and clams living in my sink. I'm going to cook them in cider and cream and have them on linguini.

ooo that sounds fabulous missfran

I am having an easy tea - defrosting a portion of saussie and bean stew which I'll have with as much penne rigate as I can fit in my bowl

Then lots and lots of choccy and crisps...mmmm

I will be munching on a baked potato topped with veggie chill, grated cheese and yogurt. Will probably have a small side salad with it.

We have lamb stuffed with garlic, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, carrots, broccoli, green beans, peas and yorkshire puds.

Which would be lovely if only I fancied it.

Wholemeal veggie pasties, stir-fried Savoy cabbage with sesame seeds, roast spuds, carrots, a nice vegan gravy and Antiques Roadshow.

don't know whats for tea....i have to watch football an then may go over to dads for dinner or i may get motivated and actually hit the grocery store and pick up something to cook tonite.....

i'm a bit hung over so i have to see how i feel. there is some leftover pizza and lasagna in the freezer too so who knows? :)

Reckon I'm making curry tonight  Something with lots of pulses and veg, to counteract the massive fry up we had this morning.

roasty garlic on bread. am trying a different method that in tehory takes 25 mins at high heat ( 260) so dunno if it will work. i may also have boiled egg and solders later

too hungover to eat again today.i had a fry up this morning and i just want to drink lots of water and smoke lots of weed..

Spanish omelette and Giant Mutant Yorkshire pudding.
Made by gergl's and Dairy's fair hands.

1Litre of Magners for me, assorted bevvies for everyone else.

dinner was Carpaccio of beef with roasted baby beetroot and horseradish creme fraiche, Pan seared Scallops in panchetta with cauliflour puree and black olive sauce followed by Tiramisu :)

so tea will be a slice of toast if / when we get hungry!

Lamb and mint pie, roast spuds, brocolli and peas with lashings of gravy. Cooked by Magic Sam! I think that's the first sunday dinner he has cooked in the 5 1/2 years we've been together.
