instead of the beef cos bees forgot to take it out of the freezer  we had spinach, in a stilton sauce on toast

very yummy it was

Did you forget to remind him 26 times though?

Hmmm, I wonder if stilton would work as a sauce for chicken in place of boursin?

hey aqua, did you recommend me that masaman thai curry dish a while back? I tried it today for lunch and didn't like it that much. teh potatoes were soft and mushy...

In late, working too hard. Had to make do.

Scampi and sprouts.

Too lazy even for potatoes.

then you went to a lousy place for it :D :p
no, the place was fine, their other dishes are good. I liked the dish overall but did not care for the potatoes in it, it was just weird in a thai dish for some reason.

tbh the one i've had didn't have potato in, not that I can remember
this one had onions, peanuts, sliced potatoes and chicken. the sauce was sort of brownish and very tasty.

left over beef casserole

left over crumble

the end of a bottle of cote du rhone

life doesn't get much better than that :)

well i decided not to go to dads cause i worked late and it is raining like hell....so it'll be leftover frozen spaghetti with meatballs and a frozen onion bagel with butter and some other unidentified frozen thingy

i really need to start writing stuff on me frozen shit

Just had soup last night...
Tonight I am planning something a little more substantial.

Wild boar and apple sausages
Mustard or cheddar mash
Onion gravy
Peas

Yum :)

Red thai curry...well my interpretation thereof, lots of veg, chicken, and the usual....mmmh mmmhm:)

The irish stew I made last night although it doesn't sound very irish to me with half a bottle of red wine and a roux. I made a roux for the first time evar

That's the one. I LOVE massaman curry - it's probably my favourite Thai dish apart from Tom Yam soup.

Not sure yet. I need to decide if we're going to go out or not. If not, I need to get something out of the freezer.

Do you really believe its an actual wild boar though? That someones lassooed in the woods and brought down, kicking-an-a-squealing, then dragged it into a van, took it to the barn, killed it, skinned it and made it into some 2 for a fiver sausages you buy at asda?

I'm having vol-u-vonts btw
