This was last night's starter.
My dad's home made tom yum soup with pork wonton dumplings.

Then bbqd home made kofta and sea bream for main

:)

Finished off the chinese yesterday so gotta make a start on the broc/asparagus soup today.
Can't say I really fancy soup much though and there's fucking loads of it...I'm gonna be eating it for days :D
Ah well, cream meringue for pudding at least  :D

Cote de boeuf with leeks and curly kale cooked in butter, home made onion rings and French fries, and a glass of red. Am sooooo glad I didn't pick up a pudding  can't move....

Chinese takeaway after a long day working at the folk festival:
Sesame prawn toast, egg fried rice, chicken in satay sauce, BBQ pork with water chestnuts and bamboo shoots.
A large crabbies and a mini magnum for pudding.

Middle-Eastern-ish tea here tonight. Stew with Moroccan spices, tomato, dried apricot, azuki beans, aubergine and green pepper. Finished with fresh coriander. Served with brown rice and a cucumber salad with a sumac, garlic, olive oil and honey dressing.

Soup

Fuck it, I might have to break my rule about never chucking food out (I've found that broccoli soup doesn't freeze well) and get rid and have the chicken leg I've got in the fridge instead :D (with....errrrrr....oven chips, maybe :hmm: ....and some of the NEW psb I've bought  ).

No pudding, cos not only did I eat my cream meringue yesterday, I also had both the Crunchie Blasts from the freezer (which were meant to be left for the kids...and which my son spotted the other day before they went off to their dad's and which I'd promised they could have upon their return, lol    ).

Think I'll be having some mixed veg with a tin of chopped tomatoes. Mainly to try and pretend to be healthy after finding a 185g bag of peanut M & Ms an hour ago and scoffing them. Oops. :D

My parents got us a free range, something fed chicken, stuff to have with it and a bottle of champers for our anniversary so we will be having that.
I think the chicken will be with salad and bread as the bread will go off before the potatoes. :hmm:

A proper Irish dinner of bacon, cabbage, potatoes - all from the allotment followed by some wild raspberries I picked on the way home from the allotment.

Simple but delicious.

One of my most favourite dinners.

And cheers for the wishes :)

Ditched the idea of vegetable based tea and went for lardy pasta instead.

Fried off garlic, chilli and chopped up sundried tomatoes in olive oil, and once that was cooked through, the whole lot was mixed with the pasta, green pesto and some toasted sesame oil. Total calories around 1,600. God knows how much fat. :D

We had fish & chips for lunch so what my Mum would call 'bread and catch it' for tea :)

So cold meat, cheese, bread, crisps and whatever we can find laying about in the kitchen.

masala marinaded chicken....its currently marinading and i am waiting VERY patiently. due to my lack of organisation dinner wont be until quite late  but its going to be amazing
