What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Spaghetti carbonara. Id been led to believe it was really difficult to get right, so hadn't bothered making it ever before.

Anyway, it was delicious and a piece of piss. :)

We had falafel wraps last night, they were immense.

It's our anniversary today, don't know what we'll have but summant nice to celebrate.

Probably going to The Chicken Shop in Kentish town tonight. I know what you're thinking, fried chicken and chips. No sir, chicken fresh from the spit according to the website :)

Happy anniversary purenarcotic :)

We're having a new kitchen floor laid atm so I am without oven. I do have a microwave so I suppose it'll be something microwaveable from the freezer :(
Although it is Tuesday, and Tuesday is chip van night :hmm:

I don't know for the 5th day in a row. I've not been well and am off my food which is really rare.

My poor husband had made so many barely touched dinners.

I'm really indecisive as well. Last nights requests ranged from Toby carvery to a bacon sandwich. We ended up with a really shit, frozen pizza. : D

I can't even get anything out of the freezer because I won't want it by 6.
Ffs!

Hmmm not sure tonight... my tummy is getting full very quickly and then cramping up a little bit so trying to eat lighter meals or not big portions... Maybe a beany salsa and a small jacket spud

I just bought a selection of things in sainsburys so there is plenty of choice for dinner. However, I reserve the right to demand Toby carvery or harvester salad cart later (and probably not eat a scrap of it.)
: o : D

Spaghetti, meatballs and toddler tears.
Donut for pudding and a mint mini magnum for second pudding when the crying finally stopped.

Roasted flesh with bay leaves, stir-fried celery with cashews, bitter lettuce with beef.

MORE 'flesh'?!? :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

We had spag bol with psb last night...or at least, me and my son did...my daughter has gone off bolognese  so she had egg mayo on toast, with psb and olives :hmm:  they had a scone with jam and clotted cream for pudding.

Today was a freezer job....bacon and leek quiche with some oven chips, peas and green beans, then chocolate mousse for them and I had the scone that I didn't have last night :D

It's my favourite thing on the menu.

Tonight we're having street food, which Mr Yu has gone downstairs to harvest. then maybe something else later, depending. :hmm: I'm hoping for a tofu on a stick and a spicy wrap.

Made 'lite' enchiladas last night. Only had some mince, onion, garlic, paprika, parsley and chopped tomatoes in the mix. Plenty of cheese inside the wraps and a sprinkle on top. Not really a purists enchilada I grant you but tasty nonetheless. Served with coleslaw and salad, mine had a good splash of encona on top.

Roast flesh, harvested street urchins, rice-fed longpig, my god woman what have you become? :(

I'm having tea at farmerbarleymow s house... They just don't know it yet :D

Or maybe ill have prawn egg fried rice as I shall be dining without the egg adverse toddler.

Not enough sossidges to go round I'm afraid :p

But I am such a food hoarder I could survive Armaggedon, but I keep buying more food while the stuff in the freezer gets older and older. I'm not good at food planning...

Just me tonight  ....lambs kidneys and mushrooms, which I did with some red onion and a sauce made from the gravy I made a couple of weeks back when we had a piri piri chicken (too spicy for the kids, so I froze it :D ). Will cook some peas to mix in with it and I'll prob have it slopped on a piece of toast.
Shelled shell-on prawns for afters.

well, i have fresh chilli', fresh coriander, spring onions, root ginger, garlic, red pepper, prawns, eggs, some soy and fish sauce.............dunno what to do really guess I'll just throw it all together in a frying pan and call it a thai omlette :D
