What's for tea tonight? (#8)

well, i have fresh chilli', fresh coriander, spring onions, root ginger, garlic, red pepper, prawns, eggs, some soy and fish sauce.............dunno what to do really guess I'll just throw it all together in a frying pan :D

Stir fry everything in the right order. You could do with a few more vegetables. Don't put the coriander in till it's on the plate.

I was in M&S today and seduced buy their "Buy four items in the picnic range and get a free bottle of wine" offer.
So I'm having a picnic on the settee.
I already had a few bits and bobs in the fridge, so it was tomato and cucumber and onion and beetroot and nice crusty bread and some lovely Lancashire cheese and a dollop of hummous and some fancy Italian ham. Then a Vimto ice lolly for pud.
It was ace, I must say.

Turned out to be tandoori chicken, chili coriander chicken, chicken tikka masala and to top it off a nice chicken naan. Just kidding, the naan was keema ;)

Texted ms starfish on my way home to enquire as to what was for dindins tonight. "Just chips, bit of salad & chicken breasts in barbecue sauce" she replied. Theres nothing, Just, about that for a tea. I love teas like that. This one was delicious :D

Veggie fried rice. Veggies were green beans, a couple of different types of mushrooms, leek, cabbage, ginger, chilli, spring onion.

Massive sandwich after a swim on the beach :). it was tomato, lettuce, Wexford Cheddar and ham from the butchers with mayo and mustard on wholegrain, with a mug of Barrys tea.

I didn't get a toddler free night last night so ended up with pizza (ham, mushroom and mascarpone which was lush)
Tonight I did vegetable fried rice with egg added to mine. I ate it whilst being pelted with thenobbly end of a loaf, a bowl of crisps, the eggless portion of dinner and rich tea finger biscuits. :D

Go to the shop and buy something made of animal and you're golden! :)

Last night I did smoked mackerel with new potatoes in butter, mustard and chives, plus steamed broccoli & asparagus.

Tonight Mrs R is out on the lash so I'm going to have ribeye steak and oven chips. I may let the littlun have some of the chips.

Mr K has been set free from the horrible project that has eaten his life for the last month. He's on holiday for two weeks, yay! So we're celebrating by having pizza (that I will make).

Should round things off nicely after this morning's celebratory fry up.

No internet at home for a while now...I've missed this thread :(

Nothing in our new flat works so dinners have mostly been things like hummus sandwiches :D
