I've got some smoked herring that needs eating, so that with sauteed veg (I've got mushrooms, courgettes, red and yellow peppers) and an avocado.
look at that and weep Oliver you cunt.
tonight it was a classic chicken fillets, chips and mushrooms. had a bit of a game getting the chicken cooked. usually what i do is put the meat part of the meal in the same tray as the chips and when the chips start to burn you know its done however tonight as the chips started to turn i cut into one of the chicken fillets and to my horror is was pink inside! after some quick thinking on me feet i took the mushrooms out of the frying pan and added them into the chips and put the chicken fillets into the frying pan. unfortunately i cut the chicken fillets into four smaller pieces which i can't help but feel detracts somewhat from the visual appeal. disaster averted the meal was garnished with both tomato sauce and salad cream.
overall - 7/10

love the sensible distribution of ketchup. people can fuck up whole cuisine by getting that wrong.
firstly that's not a tea cloth it's an oven glove and secondly the meal was perfectly edibleLook at the plight of that pink tea cloth, i'd rather eat it
MrsDarlingsKiss said:That was pretty fucking tasty, if I do say so myself.. I. made some stock from the bones and juice of yesterday roast and added that in. Still some stock left for freezing. Cheated on rice tho. My flat mate had some of those two minute microwave packs so we had them instead of brown rice. Im not normally one for packets but it was alright
Right chicken super noodles with cheese on top and bread and butter.
I think the 'bottle spray' makes it presentable.
