I was intending to make a mushroom and leek pie tonight, but as I've got a lot of stuff to do to my computer (can't really get started until OH is home to help with cat control - as soon as I open the case they're all "oooh, box") so it will probably be something quick like fish fingers, chips, and baked beans.

Lamb chops tonight with mushrooms, green beans and some sort of potato which is still undecided. : )

Pasta bake with mince and mushrooms. Sort of like a spaghetti bolognaise only with pasta shells and baked in the oven with cheese on top.

Cajun chicken made with the ace marinade that Chip Barm recommended. Top stuff. New potatoes in garlic butter, green beans and carrots with it.

Melt in the middle cod fishcakes (with a parsley butter filling, iirc) with oven chips, sugar snaps and green beans.
An aero mousse for pudding for my son (my daughter's at a friend's) and melon for me.

I've got a headache though, so paracetomol for starters!

I was just going through my posts looking for a marinade. I don't even cook chicken

We had singapore noodles. The young un isn't into beansprouts and they're a fucker to pick ut so I had double helpings.

I picked them up as an afterthought in the supermarket.... I only wanted the lamb mince but ended up doing a finger food buffet.

but yeah, dead cheap, they were massive wings too so plenty of meat and the spicing was nice.

This was the post I'm on about.

Im on my own tonight so just had a miso soup and some bread and butter

A nice healthy vegetable stir fry with black bean sauce

And a dollop of chocolate pudding with creme fraiche

Loads of spaghetti with sauce from a jar (am at PIL's house and was lucky to find a jar of something that wasn't five years out of date and/or already open).

Have since scoffed a load of mini sausage rolls and am about to fill my face with biscuits. It is possible that my period is due.
