Boiled bacon (boiled in ginger beer) cabbage and potatoes. The ginger beer/bacon stock and leftovers will be the basis of something split pea or lentilly tomorrow.
Ace. Can't beat proper vindaloo. I'm having cumberland sausages, colcannon, carrots, beans and gravy.I've made a 'traditional' vindaloo with some pigs cheeks last night so that I can spoon the fat off today to make it healthier. Also it always tastes better the next day eh? Gonna make some roti to go with it, and perhaps some sort of salad and rice. I can't wait to eat it.
Lentil cottage pie topped with potato/parsnip mash. Broccoli and gravy on the side. I've hot a real craving for yorkshire pud too...
you can have yorkshire pie and cottage pie on the same plate, right?
