What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Her indoors has a chest infection. So chicken soup. I'll lovingly tuck into a KFC boneless box whilst I lovingly prepare it for her in the kitchen :D

Homemade pizza.
A choice of toppings to include pepperoni, olives, red and orange pepper, sweetcorn.
Possibly some haloumi :hmm:
Would haloumi work on pizza?

Because it's wrong Sheo. Sweetcorn should only be eaten via the medium of corn on the cob. And you can't whack one of those on top of a pizza unless you're some kind of animal

I like it in salads sometimes, though :hmm:

And also :hmm: mixed in with a packet of cheap noodles, tuna and grated cheddar  (or a *posher* tuna/sweetcorn pasta bake :D ).

erm....porridge and a banana. Very un-tea and un-summer like...:hmm:

I think I'm going to go that way tonight, as the ever-blackening bunch of bananas has to be dealt with and I am short of proper food, so it looks like a store-cupboard tea beckons.

I've just had fried haddock with some of Lidl's immensely moreish potato dauphinause gratin and ham.
Where some = the whole bloody packet.

Very, very delicious but I might have to be surgically removed from this couch.

Tartiflette - but I ate it all last night cos it was so tasty, so will have to make it again.
Though mebbe not if I can't find any Reblochon in West Norwood

Home made burgers in a bun with a mushroom and watercress and sautéed sliced new potatoes left over from last night.
I've also made a mash-up flapjack (lemon zest, dried pineapples, raisins) which is being done for (a very rarely occurring) pudding with some plums I stewed yesterday.

Gnocchi tossed with toasted pine kernels, pesto, chilli flakes and chopped olives. And some strawberries.

Couldn't find any Reblochon, so went for Camembert and Gruyère. :hmm: different melting times, but we shall see. I may have gone overboard with the cheese, mind:

Quality burgers, new potatoes, peppery watercress. Ben and Jerry's cherry frozen yoghurt.
Neighbour brought wine and interesting crisps.
